TENVA Evidence
Chain of custody from capture to hearing. Every view, export and edit is logged against a user. Footage is immutable — the audit trail is the product.
Body-worn cameras and the software that governs the footage. Worn by mining crews, linesmen, emergency-department security, drivers and retail staff. Configured to the law of the state it works in.
01The argument
What survives scrutiny is provenance — who captured it, who touched it, what was disclosed, and under whose law it was lawful to capture at all. The audit trail is the product. The camera is just where it starts.
Operator, device, time, place and a cryptographic seal — bound to the footage at the moment of capture, not added afterwards.
Every upload, view, export and redaction is written to a ledger the footage cannot be separated from. Nothing is altered without a record. Nothing is deleted without one either.
Who received it, which version, on what basis, approved by whom. Publication is a separate offence in every Australian jurisdiction, so the system treats every export as a legal act.
Consent, notice and what counts as private differ by state. The device knows which regime it is working under and behaves accordingly — before the first frame is written.
02Who wears it
Ours are worn by people whose word gets doubted — on haul roads, up poles, at triage desks, on doorsteps and at the counter. Nobody here is chasing anyone. They're trying to get through a shift and have it believed.
A haul road at four in the morning and a near miss nobody agrees about.
A live conductor, a property owner at the gate, and a decision made in a hurry.
Two a.m., eleven hours in, and a family that has had enough.
A drop that is not going well, on a doorstep the dashcam can't see.
A refund that has turned, with the shop full.
Everyone working in the field deserves evidence on their side.
03Eight regimes
The same recording can be lawful in Mount Isa and an offence in Kalgoorlie.
Surveillance law is written by the states and territories, and it differs in every one — who has to consent, what counts as private, what notice a workplace owes. Publication is a separate offence in all eight. Products built for American police were not built around any of this. Every TENVA device carries all eight profiles and runs the one for the site it's assigned to.

Profiles summarise the obligations we configure for. They are not legal advice, and they are reviewed against current legislation at every firmware release.
04Hardware
The TENVA Body has two screens. The rear one is for the wearer. The front one faces the person being recorded and tells them who is wearing it and that it's on — consent you can point to.

05Platform
Three pieces of software govern every frame a TENVA device captures — hosted in Australia, and built for the eight-jurisdiction reality of Australian law.

AI-assisted redaction before disclosure. Detection proposes the faces and number plates to blur, and a person approves every export. It finds faces to hide them, not to identify anyone — and it is designed to run onshore, so footage never has to leave Australia.
Australia has no single recording rule. Comply holds the differences between the eight jurisdictions and configures each device to the state it is working in.
06Custody
Footage is sealed with a hash the instant it's captured and never exists unsigned. From there, every upload, view, export, redaction and disclosure is appended to a ledger the footage can't be separated from. When it's challenged — and it will be — the record answers, not the operator's memory.

07Company
TENVA is an Australian company, based in Sydney. Footage stays in Australia, under Australian law, answerable to Australian courts — because where your evidence lives is a legal question before it's a technical one.
